HTTPS WARNING FROM GOOGLE

As part of the new security features that have been rolled out on Google Chrome over the past 12 months another relating to HTTPS domains has now come to light.

For a little while now Google have advised website owners to switch to secure servers, HTTPS instead of HTTP. The latest roll out on the Google Chrome browser is that all websites that have a form , such as a contact form, or a login area that is not on a HTTPS server will be labeled 'Not Secure'

Obviously having a 'not secure' label on your website will affect the confidence of the user and will potentially stop them from making a purchase or filling out a contact form.

What we know is that when Google make these large changes they usually become ranking factors. So to safe gaurd your SEO and provide a better user experience switch to HTTPS asap.
